Multiplier event
On Friday 19th July, in Cervia was organised by SERN a dissemination event for the UPREST project, drawing more than 50 participants from various sectors involved in the local tourism industry. The primary objective of the event was to share insights into the UPREST project’s goals and results.
The event was well-attended by a diverse group of stakeholders, including representatives from local businesses, tourism associations, and municipal officials.
The participation of these varied groups underscored the broad interest in the UPREST project’s potential benefits for local tourism.
The event began with an introductory session, which provided a comprehensive overview of the UPREST project. The session detailed the project’s background, the objectives and the partnership.
This introduction set the stage for a series of presentations, each focusing on different aspects of the project.
Throughout the event, several important themes emerged from the discussions, reflecting the concerns and interests of the participants. One of the central themes was sustainability. There was a strong emphasis on promoting sustainable tourism practices, with participants discussing how the UPREST project results could contribute to environmental conservation and sustainable economic growth in Cervia.
Another significant theme was collaboration. The importance of cooperation between different sectors was a recurrent topic, with many participants expressing a willingness to work together to achieve the project’s goals.
The event concluded with a feedback session, where participants were invited to share their thoughts and suggestions. This session provided valuable insights into the participants’ perspectives on the UPREST project.
