University West is a state-owned university located in the City of Trollhättan, Western part of Sweden. We have about 15000 students and 700 employees and the numbers are growing continuously. Despite being a young University, it offers high qualitative education on a post-secondary level in a large variety of academic disciplines such as Engineering and Social Sciences, as well as Nursing and Health Studies. We are famous for offering the students education that is closely connected to the work life and a large proportion of our research is conducted in collaboration with and for the surrounding community.
